Small storm and other things..

A busy day again today.
We went to our new house today to start cleaning and to wait for the delivery of our new fridge / freezer and TV. The cleaning went well and mid morning as promised the lorry turned up with our goods. We had measured the space for the fridge with Xanthe's 15cm school ruler s I was slightly concerned as to whether it would actually fit in - it does but what we had not taken into account was that the doors only hinge on one side and if we have it all the way in we can't open it properly so we are having to have it only partially in which allows us to open it properly.
The TV is fine (and massive - chosen by Tish so nothing to do with me!).
Once we had taken delivery and signed everything the kids got into the pool...

Whilst they were splashing around Tish investigated the pool umbrella and found this rather cute lodger..

There are also plenty of lizards in our new garden so we will try and get some shots of them over the next few weeks

After a quick lunch we went to Wulagi Primary School to meet the headteacher and for the children to see their new school. It looks great, big and lots of facilitie. It can hold a role of 600+ but at the moment has about 213. Xanthe and Hamish will go in on Wednesday for a taster everyone starts properly after Easter.

We bought a take away and went to East Point for the evening where we experienced our first small storm. Very impressive and very wet - you can really see how the flash floods occur in the wet proper, the temperature dropped as well, from 32 to 23 and all three children were shivering so we took to some slightly odd exercises to warm up. The picture of which I will spare you for the time being - basically cos it wont load.
On the drive back we stopped and watched and listened to a Large-tailed Nightjar calling from the side of the road. They make a fantastic "chop" type call and are very faithful to one song post.

Tomorrow Tish has a meeting at the hospital and we pick up our new car, pictures will follow if we can upload them!
