Getting there..

Today was mostly spent sorting out the last few boxes. The only boxes not unpacked now are the DVDs, one box of books, the Xmas decorations (which I will check tomorrow) and the pictures.
We have found a couple of small ornaments broken and two of my shirts have mildew and will need to be replaced. The most annoying thing though is that we think we have thrown away the lid to our slow cooker and possibly our kitchen roll holder!
It is starting to not only look but feel like home now - just need to get some pictures on the walls.
We have started to stock up the larder and have bought some meat including kangaroo steaks which we have frozen until we have got a barbie.
We all spent the afternoon in the pool - the thermometer said 28 (or 82 in old money) but have to say it felt considerably colder than that!
