Monarchs of the Glen....

....well not quite but they are the Monarch [flycatchers] of the rainforest.
There are several members of this family that occur in the forests in Queensland. These two are my favourite

Spectacled Monarch





Black-faced Monarch




I see them most times I walk along Black Mountain Road - eventually i will get a decent picture of them!

Christmas Eve tomorrow and the children are getting rather excited! Tish on early shift and then off till 27th which will be grand.
