She's gone..

It barely seems possible but Jo is now the other side of check in at Darwin International Airport and on her way home. We have loved having her with us the last 16 days - it has been a great way to end our six months in Darwin. I'm afraid we chickened out and used the drop off zone - and even that was tearful enough,
At Jo's request today we revisited Knuckey Lagoon and Holmes Jungle so she could get some last shots including hopefully the Grass Owl that I found a couple of weeks ago.
It was a lovely way to end the trip and there were lots of photo opps for her.
The highlight from my point of view was that we did re find one of the Eastern Grass Owl and I got some more pictures - but have only added the best couple here.
We have sorted out our accommodation along the route to Cairns and are now just waiting for the boxes so we can pack - should not take too long as we have already sorted prior to moving over here.
May not be a blog for the next couple of days as we are busy getting things sorted!
