A Foggy morning and brilliant sunset...

Today was our first proper day out as Jo has caught up with some of her sleep, although the rest of us are in face masks as she has imported a cold though tomorrow is looking up as I suspect she will have completely lost her voice by then so no phone calls!
We left this morning before it got too hot and headed off to...

....to give Jo and Tish a chance with their cameras....

....now how do I focus again?
As per normal the wildlife never fails to impress - although some takes a bit more concentration to get..

resulting in this..
very nice.
We let Xanthe and Hamish loose with the old camera and my digiscoping camera as well
Cameron can't really cope with the cameras just at the moment but he seemed to keep himself amused quite well...
It was great being able to get us all in the same portrait (thanks Jo)
although of course with timers and tripod you can get everyone in...

When we got back the pool was called for....

Tea was at East Point for sunset and nightjars
The tea was Yaros from our favourite takeaway - we will miss it when we have moved, I wonder if he would deliver??
After eating the joys of the beach beckoned the smaller members of the clan

Although for some of us it was too much effort and we just sat around

The sunset was spectacular as ever - Tish's first attempts with her new camera were pretty spectacular too..
The nightjars were less obliging with fewer calling and none seen - the Bush Stone-curlew were very vocal with several pairs shouting at each other.
