Barra-minions

The weekend is our traditional house cleaning season. As the children get older the level of their involvement in this fun family event increases. In the back of my mind is not only that they are helping out but also if they find out how long it takes to clear up their own mess perhaps they wont make as much....not sure its working yet but we will keep on trying!
This weekend though if I am honest it was more a case of Hamish and Cameron helping out as Xanthe had to tidy her room which took about two hours, I tried to take a picture but the camera just refused...
The boys got on and tidied and cleaned their bedroom, the toy room and parts of the lounge etc.
Having tidied up they then fought over who was going to use the hoover or the mop...

For lunch Tish and I had baked barramundi wing
Lemon, butter and garlic wrapped in tinfoil and baked for 50 mins - yummo! The children declined this and had noodles!!!
The rest of the weekend was rather routine - although whilst BBQ some lamb on Saturday for Allan and Jen I did manage to set fire to the BBQ itself which was spectacular - a mixture of play parks, garden, DVDs and arguments particularly between the boys; the normal sort of family weekend.
The boys though never cease to amaze me, during the day they are constantly annoying / winding each other up but at night time they are completely inseparable. Sunday night was a case in point, they moved their beds together and when I went through to check on them I found this...
